Delete my account
This page explains how to permanently delete your THBT account and the data tied to it. Required by Apple App Store guideline 5.1.1(v).
The easy way — in-app
Open the THBT app → tap Log out on the home screen (or the account menu once you are logged in) → tap Delete my account → confirm.
Your account and game history are permanently removed within minutes. If the app does not yet show a "Delete my account" button in your build, use the email method below — it has identical effect.
The other way — email request
Send an email to mohammadahmedahmed@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete my THBT account".
That's it. You don't need a specific template. We will:
- Confirm receipt within 48 hours.
- Delete your account within 30 days (typically within a few business days).
- Send a one-time confirmation email once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your email address and password hash.
- All game history tied to your account (team names, scores, winners, timestamps).
- Your subscription entitlement flags, subscription tier, and start date.
- Your active login sessions (you will be signed out of every device).
- Any rooms you hosted.
What may be retained (and why)
After deletion, a small amount of information may remain:
- Billing records for subscriptions, retained as required by UAE accounting and tax law. This is handled by Apple; we only hold a transaction ID, not payment-card details.
- Deletion record — a hashed copy of the deleted email plus a timestamp, retained for fraud prevention so a deleted account cannot be silently re-created and abused. This record cannot be reversed to the original email.
- Server access logs covering the 30 days prior to deletion, which may include hashed IP addresses. These rotate out automatically.
No plaintext personal data about you is retained.
Guest accounts
If you played as a guest (via the Apple or Google sign-in buttons without creating a password account), your account already has no recoverable identity. Log out and the account is orphaned; email us with your approximate last-played time and we will purge the record.
